Picked from sandstone derived soils on our Noordhoek Estate, our Cape Point Vineyards Semillon is fermented in 1st fill barrels before spending 10 more months in barrel on gross lees. The result is dusty, herbaceous tones with black currant, limes and subtle oak, ending with a bone dry finish. If allowed to develop further in bottle, these elements give way to fantastic wax, lanolin, pineapple and tangerine flavours. A blend with 12% Sauvignon Blanc, our Semillon is a fantastic food partner, best enjoyed with spicy Asian dishes.
